The service provided is substance abuse assessment and referral, utilising the Substance Abuse Subtle Screening Inventory (SASSI).

Specifically, the service provides:
  • assessment of a person’s alcohol and/or drug use and its impact in their lives;
  • acknowledging the personal, interpersonal and social impact of alcohol and/or drug usage;
  • making a commitment for recovery;
  • identifying the most appropriate educational, counselling and rehabilitation programs for the individual; and
  • referral to appropriate local support programs and services.
