Counselling For Anger
The service is for individuals who need help managing their anger and helps them to:
- Acknowledge and take responsibility for their anger and behaviours;
- Understand the link between emotions, thoughts (beliefs) and behaviours;
- Identify and challenge irrational thoughts and beliefs;
- Learn to apply more rational thoughts and appropriate behaviours;
- Consider other perspectives and social expectations;
- Explore family-of-origin issues;
- Build internal and external resources; and
- Develop interpersonal, assertiveness and conflict resolution skills.
