The service is for individuals who need help managing their anger and helps them to:
  • Acknowledge and take responsibility for their anger and behaviours;
  • Understand the link between emotions, thoughts (beliefs) and behaviours;
  • Identify and challenge irrational thoughts and beliefs;
  • Learn to apply more rational thoughts and appropriate behaviours;
  • Consider other perspectives and social expectations;
  • Explore family-of-origin issues;
  • Build internal and external resources; and
  • Develop interpersonal, assertiveness and conflict resolution skills.
